The following data privacy policy applies in addition to the general terms and conditions of Chiemgau Tourismus e.V. (in the following referred to as “CT”). The following provisions describe the type, scope and purpose of collecting, processing and utilizing personally identifiable data. 2. Collection, Process and Use of Personally Identifiable Data

Personally identifiable data are information, which are used to identify your identity. This data includes for example name, address, post address and mailing address. CT collects, processes and uses your personally identifiable data, when you register on the website for processing an order or a future order or make a reservation.

CT uses your indicated post and mailing address for communicating with you about your orders, updating our database and maintaining your login account.

3. SSL-Encryption

CT uses SSL-encryption to protect your personally identifiable data on the website. Your data gets encrypted directly while transferred and all data privacy related information is stored in an encrypted database.

4. Newsletter Authorization, Voluntary Additional Specifications and Revocation

Your mailing address is only used for sending you offers and information about CT when you order our newsletter by clicking a corresponding link and entering your e-mail address. When you registered for our newsletter, you can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletter e-mail or login in your account and deactivate the newsletter or you can send an e-mail to info@chiemgau-tourismus.de.

5. Right of Objection

At any time you can revoke granted authorizations with future effect by sending us a notification. Your information will no longer be used for future orders or reservations. Your data will be locked after the last booking process is completed and will be deleted after retention periods expire according to legal retention obligations (tax law and commercial law).
